Bring Your Own Mason Jar: A Workshop in Basic Tinctures and Immune Health.  Fall is here and winter is right around the corner, so it's time to fortify yourself naturally! Come join us on October 20th, from 7:00pm-8:30pm at Tranquility Natural Health and learn how to make your own immune-boosting tincture! Next time you get the sniffles, you'll be able to whip up a remedy in your very own home instead of slogging yourself to the nearest drug store. The best part is that this is a free event! All you have to do is bring the mason jar, and we'll provide the herbs and the solvent!


But Wait What’s a Tincture?..... A tincture is a concentrated herbal extract that uses alcohol as a solvent. They can be made with dried flowers, leaves, roots, barks or berries and are taken as a form of herbal healing for various ailments. Whether you take it straight out of the dropper or dilute it in tea, tinctures are a wonderful boost for your body!


What Will You be Making? In addition to a thorough lecture, Dr. Angela Mckaye DC, ND will be taking you step by step in preparing an Echinacea Tincture that helps support immune health through the changing of the seasons! Bring your own mason jar and Tranquility will provide the herbs, solvent, and preparation tools necessary for you to go home with your very own hand-made remedy for a winter cold!
